Revamped Guided Inquiry Oz site, COVID-19 ready
Bookmark and Share

I’ve been thinking that this site, with its many units of work for primary and secondary and many scaffolds for inquiry, could be really useful now, in this awful COVID-19 time, when many TLs are at the forefront of helping their schools move to online learning.  Please feel free to go to any part of the site, but especially to the units of work themselves.

I’ve also been thinking of ways to try to make the blog part of this site more interactive.  Leslie Maniotes’ blog 52 weeks of Guided Inquiry was a great success – she had volunteer school librarians from around the world blog for four weeks at a time, going into detail about a particular inquiry unit.  That’s a good idea, and maybe one we could emulate.  If anyone feels that they would like to blog once a week about a particular Guided Inquiry project they are doing, please feel free to contact either Alinda Sheerman or myself.  Alinda’s email is a.sheerman@broughton.nsw.edu.au; and mine is fitzgerald.lee@gmail.com

But possibly the best way of getting this part of the site used as a blog that people contribute to often, respond to questions, pose questions is to just begin with a question, and seek answers from subscribers.

This week’s question is related to the biggest need of these times:

How are you assisting your school to move to online learning?
